WOW you are lucky! I wish we could get 5 years solid together. LOL. This is our 4th full dpeloyment (and many 2 week – 1 month underways) in not quite 4 years… and he’s only been in four years. I found when my husband has been gone the only thing the women who lived around me in housing wanted to do was tell me how everyone’s husband but theirs cheats when they deploy and further insult me because I had no children to “keep” him. LOL. I am glad you found some good ones somewhere to hang out with.

That’s awesome that you have that military family. My husband is a police officer and it’s something like that with the other families in the Sheriff’s office.

It’s wonderful that you wives help eachother through it.

Deployment really is one of those times when you realize what “it” and you are all about. It is like that saying about women and tea–you never know how strong they are until you place them in hot water!
